Risograph Sunflower Seedling Motivational Print Poster
A hopeful risograph motivational poster of a tiny seedling and its giant sunflower shadow, in yellow and aqua inks on cream paper.
A motivational print for a small print shop, a gallery wall or a home office, built around one tiny seedling in a wide, empty field. Its long shadow stretches up the sheet in the shape of the sunflower it will become. The title is huge and set in a heavy soft serif, and the shop name, a print-run line and a website sit small at the top and bottom. It is printed in two overlapping inks, yellow and aqua, which make green where they cross, with a slightly off-register second pass, dotted halftone rows and warm cream paper. The mood is hopeful, patient and a little funny, like the late afternoon of a long summer day.
