About us

Making something look good shouldn't be the hard part

Boom.design turns one sentence into a finished design you can keep editing, so a café, a creator or a whole marketing team can make what they need in minutes, without learning a design tool or hiring one out.

Why we built it

Every way to get a design had a catch

Whether it was a flyer for a local shop or a week of social posts, we kept running into the same four walls.

Design tools are slow
A simple flyer turned into an afternoon of dragging boxes, nudging text and looking up the right size.
Designers cost too much for small jobs
A designer is worth it for a brand. For a quick poster or this week's post, the cost and the back-and-forth rarely are.
AI pictures can't be edited
AI image tools hand you a flat picture. A typo in the headline or a logo in the wrong place means starting over.
Templates all look alike
Template sites give everyone the same few looks, and yours ends up beside a hundred others.

So we built the one we wanted

Describe what you need in a sentence. The assistant asks what it has to, then lays out a design made for your thing: real text, shapes and pictures on a canvas, not a flat image. Change anything by asking or by hand, and export it ready to post or print.

What we believe

Four promises we build around

Anyone can design
You shouldn't need a design degree, or a tool to learn. If you can say what you want, you can make it.
Everything stays editable
Every design is real text, shapes and pictures. Fix a word, swap a photo or move the logo, by asking or by hand.
You own what you make
Your designs and uploads are yours. We don't sell them, and we don't use them to train AI models.
Clear, fair pricing
Free to start, no card needed. Plans and credits are spelled out up front, and your balance is always in view.
