Pressed Wild Oat Herbarium Poetry Ebook Cover
A still, elegiac poetry ebook cover styled as a herbarium specimen sheet, with a taped wild oat stalk, a typed label and a sprouting seed.
A quiet cover for a collection of rural poems, made to look like an old herbarium sheet. A single dried stalk of wild oats is taped flat to cream mount paper, with a typewritten collector's label beside it. A few loose seeds lie along the bottom, and one has split and sent up a tiny green shoot. The big serif title sits top left over a small italic subtitle, with the author's name set in spaced capitals under a thin rule. The palette is cream, olive, faded rust and linen tape.
