A two-page menu for a small sushi bar, set in thin, widely spaced type on warm rice-paper white with fine charcoal rules. Page one holds the header, nigiri and sashimi lists, and page two holds hand rolls and maki, small plates and a dark green omakase panel with a big price and a numbered course list. Every section is headed by a small drawn persimmon that goes from plump and glossy to wrinkled and sugar-dusted as the menu goes on. Dish names, descriptions and prices sit in a clean right-aligned price column, and the address, hours, phone number and website run along the foot of the second page. It reads calm and exact in persimmon orange, charcoal and nori green, and could be reworked for another Japanese restaurant or a tasting menu.
