Homespun Grange Fair Pie Contest Participation Certificate
A bold, homespun participation certificate for a grange fair pie contest, with a red title banner, an entry tag, a lattice pie seal and two signatures.
A landscape certificate for a county or grange fair baking contest, made out to an entrant for a homemade pie. It has a bold red title banner, a big cherry-red name, a short line on what the entry was, the date, and two signature lines for the fair's officers. A yellow paper entry tag with a hanging twine loop and a big entry number sits beside the name, answered by a lattice-top pie seal with ribbon tails and lettering around its crust. Muslin, cherry red, barn green, butter yellow and pie-crust brown give it the look of a vintage seed packet or an old fair premium book, with a heavy green frame and sturdy slab serif type. It suits any fair, bake sale or garden club contest, and the pie and cherries can be swapped for other entries.
