A funny, affectionate Mother's Day card for anyone who grew up with a mom who always had a tissue, a snack or a bandage on hand. The front shows a plum cardigan draped over a kitchen chair, its two patch pockets stuffed with a crumpled tissue, a granola bar, a bandage, a roll of mints, a hair tie and a stubby pencil, under a big brush-lettered greeting and a small tagline. The inside holds a short, warm message with room to sign. Hand-drawn ink outlines, flat gouache-style fills and playful sparkles in plum, persimmon and butterscotch on a pale celery green ground.
