Vintage Desert Soil Protection Hiking Awareness Poster
A vintage travel-style awareness poster asking hikers to stay on the trail, with a big sun, red mesa, boot print and canyon red, yellow and teal.
A public awareness poster for a land trust or park group asking hikers to stay on the trail and protect fragile desert soil. A huge low sun sits behind a red mesa, a pale trail winds through dark, knobbly ground, and one oversized yellow boot print is stamped just off the path. A big slab-serif headline fills the top with a small round badge beside it, and a cream footer holds a short message, the organization's name, its town and a website. Flat silkscreen-style layers in canyon red, sun yellow, umber and pale teal with a soft printed grain give it a sunlit, earnest, park-ranger feel that could be adapted to other trail or conservation campaigns.
