Plum Blossom Lunar New Year Dumpling Supper Invitation
A romantic Lunar New Year dinner invitation with a plum blossom branch, red hanging knots for the details, and a rice paper cream, pink and gold palette.
A romantic floral invitation for a Lunar New Year gathering at home, from a family dinner to a dumpling-folding party. A plum blossom branch in full bloom reaches across the card, with red knots and gold tassels hanging from it on thin cords, one for each of the day, hour, place and reply details. Above it sit a script greeting and a bold serif headline, and below are a short note, the hosts' names and a lacquer red band with a closing wish. Rice paper cream, soft blossom pink, ink black, red and gold leaf give it a warm, festive feel, and a few little dumplings add some play.
